"The hotel entrance is a bit hard to find, I guessed it after looking at the photos of the surrounding area. The facilities are relatively old, but I can see Mount Fuji from my room
There are izakayas and ramen restaurants around, but I didn't dare to go in alone, so I went to 711 to eat vegetarian fast food, which is about 500m away
The front desk staff is a middle-aged woman, a middle-aged man and a young man. The middle-aged woman does not speak English, the middle-aged man's English can be used for simple communication, and the young man is unknown, but they are very nice and kind. Even if they don't speak English, they want to tell you as much as possible about what you want to know, which makes me feel greatly respected
If I come back to Fuji, I will stay here again"
"Very cozy hostel, clean, welcoming staff, ready to answer any question and to suggest the solution. Settled even earlier than they should. There was everything necessary. Near the market and restaurant. To the railway station on foot about 20 minutes - there is a bus on Fuji, one station to the wild beach."
"It is not recommended to go. It seems that the lien institution of the Japanese epidemic is like a school or a shoe change room in a bath. Maybe the culture is different, but no matter what the planet is, you are the service industry. You run a hotel service. You have to feel at home, so it is not recommended to go! really!"
"The location name in googlemaps is Fujimi Inn. They provide free alcohol corner for guest as well as so many soft drinks. We were very impressive. The staff was very kind and helpful. They also provide free parking spot at the restaurant parking lot on the opposite side of the road."
"Visited during my trip to Shizuoka with my father. I was worried because there was no Korean review, but I was satisfied with the breakfast, the size of the hotel room, and the water pressure in the bathroom. The view of Mt. Fuji from the corridor window was also really nice. Recommended as a travel accommodation in Shizuoka!!! It's so nice to have a large mart right in front of the hotel, and the Yakiniku infinite refills right in front of you are really okay."
"The hotel has not seen Mount Fuji in two days. After living for two days, Mount Fuji has been shrouded in the fog of the clouds. When I was walking, I was having breakfast at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant. Suddenly the cloud opened for a while and I saw Mount Fuji. Staying for two consecutive days can ask them not to clean the room. When they come back, the staff puts toiletries and other items on the door of the room. It’s really intimate. The hotel is conveniently located at the east exit Fuji Expressway. The hotel staff is really very enthusiastic and responsible. I took the wallet on the train on the Shinkansen. The hotel staff helped to call the Shinkansen. The magical thing was that the wallet was found. Two days later, I went to Tokyo to get the wallet back."
"The location is amazing. 2 minutes walk from Fuji Station??
It's a typical Japanese hotel. The room felt a bit small as is typical of Japanese hotels, but it was bigger than I thought (there was still some space left even after opening two suitcases). Above all, it's great that it provides accommodation and breakfast at a low price. The breakfast is just a typical Japanese breakfast mixed in. The nearby convenience store is a bit far, but it's okay for this price. You can buy it on the way here, and if you go to the Fuji Station bakery in the evening, it's discounted, so you can buy it.
I was skeptical because there weren't many Korean reviews, but it wasn't bad.
The staff is also very friendly and the drinks are free in the evening, and...
They leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out."
"It's conveniently located from the JR station, and it doesn't take long to get there by taxi.
The environment and cleanliness of the stay are pretty good.
The breakfast is quite diverse, and it’s a family-friendly place."
WWai Man IreneThis is the first time I stayed in this hotel in Fuji. Although it is not very new, it is very comfortable and the service is very good, especially when we had Japanese breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was very thoughtful and considerate. I can also communicate with the front desk in English. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Fuji again, I will stay in this hotel again. Note: I ate a corner of the tofu before I remembered to take a photo 😊
It was great time in this hostel ever. Actually I traveled Japan quite a lot thought I ve never had experience at here like cozy and calm. Bath system was incredible and interior design was so Japan. And the location is just near by Sinfuji station. Host was so kind also. If .. I will come and staying here again definitely.
SSKafkaFuji Station is accessible by bus. The hotel facilities are worth the price and are well maintained. The service staff are warm and friendly. It is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Japan. The breakfast is OK, but it ends a little early (9am). When the weather is clear, the north-facing rooms have a great view of Mount Fuji. The only drawback is the fresh air system. It feels stuffy if you stay in the room for a long time.
SserselIt’s a nice budget hotel near Shin-Fuji Station, and overall, it was a pleasant experience for me.
The hotel is very close to the trains, yet surprisingly quiet. It’s small but very clean, with everything necessary provided in the room. Though the room isn’t spacious, it is cozy, and I enjoyed a nice view of Mount Fuji from my window, even if the grids on the window made it tricky to capture good photos.
The breakfast is simple but adequate to start your day, and I noticed the menu changes daily (I stayed for two nights and had different options each morning). The staff, while not fluent in English, were incredibly kind and helpful. They really made my stay more comfortable.
The hotel provides a few shuttle buses to the nearby train station, which was very convenient. They also offer free shuttles to Fujikawaguchiko, but only on national holidays and weekends, so I didn’t get the chance to try that. If you’re heading to the Shin-Fuji Station, there’s a tourist center with English-speaking staff who are very helpful. You can even rent bicycles there to explore the area and enjoy stunning views of Mount Fuji.
For the price, it’s a great option, especially if you’re on a budget and looking for a quiet, clean place to stay with some handy amenities.
BBannaruckThis hotel is very suitable for those who plan to visit Mt. Fuji and drive around to see the atmosphere around Fuji. The parking lot is spacious. The room has complete facilities. Breakfast is also provided. It tastes good and has a variety of menus. The price is good for both the heart and the wallet. Very impressed 👍😍
PPatimaThe hotel is in a great location, and the room, though small, had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we were given a room facing the street, and the noise at night made it hard to sleep if you're sensitive to sounds. Breakfast looked great, but we had to skip it due to a long queue and an early departure. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re not bothered by street noise.
KKaurJac313Perfect for a family - we were able to rent a car and go towards Mount Fuji and all the other parts! It is a bit small but the location across the JR line is perfect! Thank you to the front desk for being helpful! Highly recommend b
SShikudeweixiaoThe hotel is a certain distance away from the Fujisan Railway Station, and the bus station is a certain distance away from the hotel. It is not recommended to make reservations especially for night travel, as taxis are expensive in Japan. Of course, there are also advantages: 1. You can take a hot spring bath on the first floor, from 5:00 to 10:00, and it stops at 24:00 at night; 2. You can directly see Mount Fuji when the weather is good for breakfast; 3. You can see Mount Fuji from the rooms on the north side; 4. There is a large 24-hour local supermarket across the road, which is very convenient; 5. The surrounding restaurants are also relatively convenient; 6. It is about 20 minutes away from the Yume Bridge. In short: If you have a lot of luggage, it is not recommended to choose public transportation, but if you take a taxi, it doesn’t matter!
GGuest UserA cute and cozy guesthouse with an amazing view of the fuji from the rooftop. Not too many attractions nearby but after a ride with a bus there is a lot of beautiful nature. So if you intend to stay in a calmer environment maybe to calm down after staying in big cities its perfect. The service is amazing as well. The owner helped a lot to get night bus tickets as the website translation was confusing...
